Dense Fog and Poor Air Quality in Delhi-NCR

On February 2, 2026, Delhi-NCR woke up to a very thick fog that made it hard to see.

This fog caused cars to move very slowly on roads like Akshardham and Dhaulakuan.

The fog also affected flights at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, making them late.

The airport had to use special conditions to help planes land safely.

The air quality in Delhi was also not very good, with scores ranging from 118 to 259, which is considered moderate to poor.

People were advised to check with their airlines for the latest flight information.

The fog is expected to continue in the mornings and nights, and there might be rain or snow in some areas.
