A 48-year-old man who made religious statues was shot in Jabalpur.

His name was Babba, also known as Manoj Sonkar.

He had just finished making a statue of Lord Ganesha.

He stepped outside the temporary workshop for a break.

Police said two or three young men arrived on a motorcycle and fired at him.
