Ford Launches Ranger Plug-in Hybrid in Europe
Ford has created a new type of truck called the Ranger plug-in hybrid, which can run on both gas and electricity.
It's the first of its kind in Europe!
It has a regular gasoline engine and an electric motor, letting it travel a short distance on electricity alone.
This new truck is good for the environment because it produces less pollution and saves drivers money on taxes.
It can still carry heavy things and tow a lot, just like the regular Ranger.
Inside, it has a big screen and special outlets to plug in your devices.
Ford has launched the Ranger plug-in hybrid, Europe's first plug-in hybrid pickup.
The Ranger PHEV features a 2.3-litre petrol engine and a 75kW electric motor.
It has an electric-only driving range of 25.5 miles and qualifies for lower taxes.
The truck can tow 3.5 tonnes with a payload exceeding one tonne.
It includes a 12-inch touchscreen, Pro Power Onboard system, and three 230V plug sockets.
