Delhi LG Criticizes AAP for University Land Delay

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, V.K. Saxena, recently criticized the previous AAP government for not paying for and delaying the handover of land to two universities.

These universities, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Delhi Teachers’ University, were finally given over 35 acres of land in Narela.

The current government has allocated and paid significant funds for this land.

Additionally, Education Minister Ashish Sood praised another university, the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, and promised to improve its facilities and placement opportunities.

The goal is to enhance higher education in Delhi and make Narela a center for education with modern amenities.
