Tamil Nadu Launches Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025
Tamil Nadu has introduced a new policy called the Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025.
This policy aims to attract both local and global toy manufacturers to set up high-end toy production in the state.
The policy offers special incentives for companies that invest more than ₹50 crore and create at least 50 jobs.
These incentives include subsidies for fixed capital and payroll, as well as support for training and acquiring GI tags for traditional toys.
The policy also helps artisanal products get listed on e-commerce platforms.
The goal is to make Tamil Nadu a hub for toy manufacturing and to encourage innovation and job creation in this sector.
Tamil Nadu released the Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025 to attract investments in the toy manufacturing sector.
Projects with investments over ₹50 crore and at least 50 jobs are eligible for special incentives.
Subsidies for fixed capital range from 7% to 12% depending on the district, with disbursal periods of 5 to 10 years.
Creative design studios can receive a 30% payroll subsidy for new hires who are residents of Tamil Nadu.
