PM Publishers and Google Launch AI Tutors in India
PM Publishers, a company that makes school books, is working with Google to add Google's AI assistant, called Gemini, to their textbooks.
This will make learning more fun and interactive.
Starting in the 2026-27 school year, over 250 books covering subjects like Computer Science, English, and Hindi will have special QR codes.
When students scan these codes, they can get help from Gemini, which knows the book's content well.
This AI tutor will provide summaries, activities, and extra learning resources.
The goal is to make learning more engaging and to help students and parents understand concepts better.
Over 2 million students in more than 2,000 schools will be able to use this new tool.
Additionally, Google has launched the AI Plus plan in India, offering advanced AI features at an affordable price of ₹399 per month, with a discounted rate of ₹199 for the first six months.
This plan includes features like the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, integration with Google Workspace apps, video generation, and 200GB of cloud storage.
