Inder Chhajli Turns Village Experiences Into Authentic Punjabi Storytelling
Inder Chhajli makes Punjabi web series using stories inspired by people and events he has seen.
Some characters come from people in his village.
He changes those real-life inspirations to fit his stories.
His shows include Maldar Shada, Nand and Vada Laana.
His work often shows village life in a raw and familiar way.
The stories can be funny, but they also discuss families and social problems.
He tries to share these messages through entertaining stories.
Viewers’ support and a 2026 digital creators award have encouraged him to continue.
Inder Chhajli draws on village life, family situations and personal experiences for his Punjabi web series.
He currently works across Maldar Shada, Nand and Vada Laana, while Lucha Buda has completed its run.
Chhajli writes, acts, directs and produces the series through Jatt Beat Record.
