Report Links Kid Rock Helicopter Probe to Army Chief Ouster

The Army investigated two helicopters that flew unusually low over Kid Rock’s property in Tennessee.

Kid Rock posted video of the flight online.

The Washington Post says General Randy George wanted the Army to check whether the flight broke safety rules.

The report says General Chris LaNeve told George that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth did not want the investigation to continue.

George reportedly discussed the conversation with colleagues and seemed troubled.

Soon afterward, George was removed as Army chief of staff.

The Army has not publicly given a reason for removing him.

Hegseth defended LaNeve but did not directly address the reported conversation.

The report does not establish that the helicopter investigation caused George’s removal.
