Jupiter Life Hospitals Q1 Profit Falls 14.6% Amid Dombivli Losses
Jupiter Life Hospitals is a chain of hospitals in India.
In the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, it earned less money than the same period last year, losing about 14.6% of its profit.
The company made more revenue, but the extra costs from opening a new hospital in Dombivli and advertising made its earnings smaller.
The new hospital still lost money in its first full quarter.
The company also bought another private hospital called Sulcus for about 3.78 crore rupees.
The CEO said they are working on insurance deals to bring in more patients and will keep adding new medical services.
Net profit fell 14.6% YoY to Rs 37.5 crore in Q1 FY27.
Revenue rose 16.4% YoY to Rs 411 crore across the network.
EBITDA margin dropped to 19.3% from 22.2% due to Dombivli ramp‑up losses and marketing spend.
Dombivli hospital recorded an EBITDA loss of Rs 9.5 crore in its first full quarter.
Jupiter Hospital Pharmacy acquired Sulcus Private Limited for Rs 3.78 crore.
