RBI Extends Oversight Committee Tenure for IndusInd Bank
IndusInd Bank is being overseen by a special committee while they find a new CEO.
The RBI, India's central bank, has given this committee more time, until the end of August.
This is because the previous CEO left due to issues with how the bank handled certain financial investments.
Also, the bank's HR head has resigned.
RBI extended the oversight committee tenure for IndusInd Bank by one month.
The extension is valid until August 28, or until a new CEO is appointed.
The committee was formed after the previous CEO resigned on April 29.
The resignation was related to accounting lapses in the derivatives portfolio.
