President Murmu Observes Raksha Bandhan Tradition with Brother
President Murmu, India's leader, showed her love for her brother by sending him a special thread, called a Rakhi, for the holiday of Raksha Bandhan.
This is a tradition she keeps every year, no matter where she is or how busy she is.
Her brother, Tarani Sen Tudu, received the Rakhi in Odisha and wore it.
They talked on the phone, and she asked how he was doing and when he would visit her in Delhi.
He told her he would visit soon, and they talked about their lives.
It's a way for them to show they care about each other and to keep their family close.
President Droupadi Murmu sent a Rakhi to her younger brother, Tarani Sen Tudu, in Odisha for Raksha Bandhan.
This family tradition is upheld annually, regardless of the President's commitments or location.
Tudu tied the Rakhi sent by his sister and spoke with her over the phone.
During their phone call, Murmu inquired about Tudu's well-being and his plans to visit Delhi.
Tudu shared that he prayed for her good health, and she blessed him.
