Court Dismisses Second Bail Plea of Hyderabad Man
A man from Hyderabad was arrested for sharing a fake video about India's Prime Minister.
He asked the court for bail twice.
The court said no, because the crimes were serious.
He had already been in jail for more than two months.
The court also said the investigation was finished and a chargesheet was filed.
So he will stay in jail until the case is finished.
A Chandigarh court rejected the second bail application of a Hyderabad man accused of circulating a fake video linked to PM Modi.
The case was registered on April 19 at Sector 26 police station under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act.
The accused, Hassan Mohiduddin Siddiqui, 44, claimed he was falsely implicated and had been in custody for over two and a half months.
The court cited the gravity of the offences and seriousness of the allegations as reasons for denying bail.
A chargesheet had already been filed, and the investigation was considered complete.
