Shanghumugham Beach Vendor Relocation Nears Finalization
The local government in Thiruvananthapuram is working on a plan to move vendors at Shanghumugham Beach to new spots as part of making the beach look nicer.
They're meeting with the vendors who don't want to move to try and work things out.
Most vendors agreed to the move, which is expected to be done by the end of June.
Then, the newly improved beach will open in July.
Sixteen food vendors will move into new kiosks, and the move is based on how long they've been vendors.
