Telangana HC Refuses to Postpone APP Exam
The Telangana High Court decided not to delay an important exam for assistant public prosecutors.
Some lawyers asked for the delay because the exam is on the same day as village leader elections, and they wanted to vote.
The court said it couldn't easily change the exam schedule and told the lawyers to ask the exam organizers to consider their request.
The court believes the exam organizers should handle such scheduling issues.
Telangana High Court refused to postpone the APP exam scheduled for December 14.
Petitioners were practicing lawyers who wanted to vote in the gram panchayat elections on the same day.
The court bench comprised Justice P. Sam Koshy and Justice Suddala Chalapathi Rao.
The court directed petitioners to submit a representation to the TSLPRB for consideration.
The court noted that scheduling issues are within the administrative domain of the TSLPRB.
