India’s Asian Games Equestrian Campaign Off to Disappointing Start

India’s equestrian team had a difficult start at the Asian Games.

The team finished seventh in the dressage part of eventing.

Only Indonesia was below India in the eight-team standings.

India was also eliminated from the team jumping competition.

Japan had the best dressage score among the teams.

Thailand and Hong Kong, China, followed Japan.

Ashish Limaye and Arjan Singh Nagra were outside the top 10 in individual dressage.

Limaye was sixth in individual jumping, while Fouaad Mirza was 24th.

These results made India’s chances of winning a medal more difficult.
