NMC Launches Website to Gather Views on Student Wellbeing
Imagine grown-ups want to help students feel happier and safer at school.
So, they made a special website where everyone can share their ideas!
Students, parents, teachers, and even people who aren't in school anymore can tell them what's good and what's not so good.
This is to help stop sad feelings and problems that make students want to give up.
The website asks questions in English and Hindi, like how the school feels, if anyone is being treated unfairly, and what help is already available.
All the schools are asked to use the website too.
A big court even reminded everyone to share their thoughts because it's really important to help students.
They want to make sure every student feels supported and has a good time learning.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has launched a website for its National Task Force (NTF) to gather views on student wellbeing.
The NTF, constituted by the Supreme Court, aims to prevent student suicides in educational institutions.
The website, launched in August, hosts surveys in English and Hindi to collect anonymous feedback from students, parents, faculty, and the public.
The Supreme Court has urged all states and union territories to ensure institutions participate in the survey, with nearly 57,000 institutions yet to comply.
Medical colleges and institutions under NMC are advised to participate and share the website link with their students and faculty.
