Adhikari Demands Jail for CM Over IPAC-ED Row
Suvendu Adhikari, a big leader in West Bengal, held a rally in south Kolkata.
He said that the Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, and some top police officers stopped an important investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
He wants them to go to jail for this.
Adhikari also promised to defeat Mamata Banerjee in the upcoming elections from her own area, Bhawanipur.
He said that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is not running the government properly and that a group called I-PAC is actually in charge.
He also mentioned that his car group was attacked recently, but he is not scared and will continue to fight against the current government.
He wants the BJP to win the next elections and make things better for the people.
Suvendu Adhikari demanded the imprisonment of CM Mamata Banerjee and top police officers for allegedly obstructing an ED raid.
Adhikari vowed to defeat Mamata Banerjee in the upcoming assembly elections from her Bhawanipur constituency.
The ED has approached the Calcutta High Court, naming the Chief Minister as the primary accused and seeking the transfer of the case to the CBI.
Adhikari accused the TMC of not running the government properly and alleged that I-PAC is in control.
The BJP rally was organized to counter a recent Trinamool Congress march protesting the CM's role in the ED raid and the attack on Adhikari's convoy.
