Jefferies Adjusts Asia Pacific Portfolio
Jefferies, a big investment company, has changed some of its investments in Asia.
They decided to put more money into India and Taiwan because they think these countries will do well in the future.
They took money away from China and Indonesia because they are not as sure about how these countries will do.
India is doing well because people are buying things and there are lots of new buildings and roads being made.
Taiwan is important because it makes really smart computer chips that the world needs.
Jefferies also made some changes to their global investments by removing a bank from Indonesia and adding a big technology company from South Korea.
Jefferies increased India and Taiwan's weightings by 1 percentage point each in its Asia Pacific ex-Japan portfolio.
The increased weightings are funded by reducing allocations to China and Indonesia.
India's new weighting is 17%, reflecting resilient domestic demand and infrastructure growth.
Taiwan's weighting increase is due to its strong position in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
Jefferies removed Bank Central Asia from global and international portfolios, replacing it with Samsung Electronics.
