Omega Seiki Launches First Autonomous Cargo 3-Wheeler

Omega Seiki Mobility, an e-mobility company, has launched the world’s first autonomous electric cargo three-wheeler called Swayamgati Cargo.

This vehicle is designed for intra-campus logistics and can travel up to 120 km with a top speed of 20 km/h.

The company has set an introductory price of Rs 4.15 lakh to make autonomous vehicles more affordable.

The Swayamgati Cargo is equipped with advanced features like Lidar, GPS, and AI-based obstacle detection.

It is intended for use in controlled environments with limited traffic.

The company aims to reduce dependence on manual labor and increase operational efficiency.

They have received interest for 1,500 units for various applications, including material movement in industrial parks and goods transportation within tech campuses.

The vehicle is expected to have a payback period of one and a half years and requires one person to manage five vehicles.
