Edelweiss launches REITs fund; JioBlackRock floats Nifty 50 ETF

Two new ways to invest money were launched in India.

The first is a fund from Edelweiss that lets people invest in big real estate projects, like offices and malls, without buying a whole building.

It uses REITs, which are like big groups where many people share ownership of property and earn rent from it.

The second is an exchange-traded fund, or ETF, from JioBlackRock, a partnership between Jio Financial Services and BlackRock.

This ETF invests in the Nifty 50, which is a basket of India's 50 biggest and most famous companies.

ETFs can be bought and sold easily, just like shares on a stock exchange.

Both funds are only open for a short time for new investors, called a New Fund Offer.

The Nifty 50 ETF is a good starting point for most people because it spreads money across many companies.

The real estate fund is better for people who want a special, focused bet on property.

Investing always has risk, and both funds are marked as 'very high' risk, so money should only be invested carefully.
