Bhagwant Mann Launches AAP’s Door-to-Door Punjab Poll Campaign
Bhagwant Mann has started a campaign for his party before Punjab’s next election.
AAP workers will visit homes across the state.
They will explain what the government says it has done since 2022.
The campaign is called “Mann Da Munafa,” meaning the benefit people receive from government work.
Mann highlighted free electricity, healthcare, education and other support.
He said these programs save each family about ₹1.82 lakh a year, although another report cited about ₹1.80 lakh.
He also discussed village projects such as roads, drainage, water supply and streetlights.
Opposition parties disagree with AAP’s record and have especially criticized its handling of drugs.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the Aam Aadmi Party’s statewide door-to-door campaign from Dhuri ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
The “Mann Da Munafa” campaign will present AAP’s four-and-a-half-year governance report card and work since 2022 to households across Punjab.
Mann claimed government schemes provide each family an annual benefit of ₹1.82 lakh, while another account described average savings of about ₹1.80 lakh.
The highlighted measures include free electricity, healthcare, government-school education, pensions, free ration and assistance under the Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna.
AAP plans to mobilize workers across 25,332 polling booths, while opposition parties criticize the government over its record, particularly drug control.
