Parsik Station Revival Returns Amid Kalwa-Mumbra Safety Concerns

Parsik Station Revival Returns Amid Kalwa-Mumbra Safety Concerns

Some passengers and a railway group are worried about safety between Kalwa and Mumbra.

The passenger association says four people fell from a moving local train in three days.

Central Railway says it knows of only one such reported fall.

The railway also says people were using Carshed tracks without permission to board trains.

The association wants an investigation and better ways for passengers to travel safely.

It has suggested bringing back Parsik Station as a suburban stop.

Railway officials have asked for a study to see whether that is possible.

The railway is also building a pedestrian bridge and considering longer trains.

The station idea is still only being examined, not approved.
