Kerala Minister Dismisses EVM Hacking Discussion Reports

In Kerala, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said there was no discussion about EVM hacking at a UDF meeting, despite media reports.

Congress MP Rajmohan Unnithan, however, submitted a complaint asking for a thorough investigation into the allegations.

Chennithala agreed to investigate once the complaint was received.

Unnithan emphasized that if the allegations are false, those who spread them should be punished, but if true, it would be a serious threat to democracy.

Earlier, Unnithan had called the allegations a serious criminal offense and insisted on action against anyone found guilty.
