Apple’s ₹4.5 Lakh iPhone Duo Brings Foldable Features
Apple has made a new phone called the iPhone Duo that folds.
Its inside screen is designed to look smooth with very little visible crease.
The phone has a strong titanium frame and special glass for protection.
It can be used like a regular phone, opened like a small tablet or placed upright.
A feature called StandBy can show useful information while the phone is standing.
Its cameras include tools that help people frame photos and join video calls.
The phone does not use a physical SIM card, leaving more room for its batteries.
In India, people can pre-order it on October 16, and sales start on October 23.
The iPhone Duo uses a foldable inner display that Apple says has an almost invisible crease and a nano-texture finish.
Its Grade 5 titanium frame, multi-component hinge, Ceramic Shield protection and IP68 rating are designed to improve durability.
The phone can be used closed, fully open or standing, with StandBy showing clocks, photos, weather, calendars and widgets.
Duo Preview, Kid Cue and Duo FaceTime add camera and calling features designed for the foldable form factor.
The eSIM-only device includes a dual-battery system, up to 31 hours of inner-display video playback and launches in India on October 23.
