AMPIN to Supply Renewable Energy to Airtel Data Centre
Nxtra, a company with lots of computers, is getting more clean energy.
They teamed up with AMPIN to get electricity from the sun and wind.
They are now getting over 200 MW of energy, which is a lot!
This will help power their computers and reduce pollution.
This is possible through solar-wind hybrid power projects.
Nxtra aims to use only clean energy and has committed to using 100% renewable energy sources.
AMPIN Energy Transition and Nxtra by Airtel have expanded their renewable energy partnership.
The new agreement involves 125.65 MW of solar-wind hybrid energy.
Total renewable energy supply between the companies now exceeds 200 MW.
Energy will be delivered in phases via projects in Rajasthan and Karnataka.
Nxtra by Airtel joined the RE100 initiative in June 2024, aiming for 100% renewable energy.
