HDFC Bank Announces Temporary Service Closures for Upgrades
HDFC Bank is making some upgrades, so some of its services will be temporarily unavailable.
This will happen on August 22nd and 23rd, 2025.
During this time, you won't be able to use things like WhatsApp chat with the bank or get help through email or social media.
Phone banking's automated system and SMS banking will also be down.
The bank says this is to make their services better.
If you urgently need to report a lost card or blocked account, you can still call the bank directly.
You can continue to use services such as online and mobile banking during the downtime.
HDFC Bank is temporarily suspending some customer care services.
The closures will occur on August 22nd and 23rd, 2025.
Affected services include WhatsApp Chat Banking, SMS Banking, phone banking IVR, and email/social media support.
The bank states the downtime is for system upgrades.
Urgent account or card blocking is still available via the toll-free number.
