Delhi CM Inaugurates Footover Bridge for Soldiers
The Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, is building a bridge for soldiers to cross the road safely.
Currently, they use a cramped, dirty tunnel, which is inconvenient.
Gupta's government approved the project to address the soldiers' needs, contrasting with the previous government which was seen as ignoring this issue.
This is part of events to honor the Prime Minister’s birthday.
Delhi CM laid the foundation stone for a footover bridge for soldiers.
The bridge will be located at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre.
Soldiers currently use an underground drain to cross the road.
The project addresses a long-standing need for a safe crossing.
The event was part of the ‘Sewa Pakhwara’ events honoring PM Modi.
