DU denies removing 'walls of democracy'
Delhi University students thought the university took down special walls where they can put up posters and express their opinions.
But the university said the walls are still there and they just stopped students from putting up posters for a little while to clean the walls.
They also said they will make more of these walls in the future.
Some students were upset and complained, but the university is checking what happened and will take action if the security guards did something wrong.
Delhi University students alleged that the 'walls of democracy' were removed.
The university administration stated the walls remain intact and more will be created.
A temporary restriction on pasting posters was imposed for cleaning and maintenance.
Student groups protested and submitted a memorandum to the university's proctorial office.
The university is examining the incident and will take action if security officers acted inappropriately.
