Indian Stock Market: Mixed Global Cues, Domestic Optimism
Indian stock market is expected to open lower on Friday, following a sell-off in global markets.
Despite this, domestic markets ended higher on Thursday, with Bank Nifty hitting a record high and Sensex and Nifty closing at 52-week highs.
However, India's core sector output growth was flat in October, indicating a slowdown.
In the US, job growth picked up in September, but the unemployment rate rose to a four-year high.
Meanwhile, Japan's manufacturing activity contracted for the fifth consecutive month.
