Kuchipudi Recital 'Nrityopasana' Enthralls Dance Connoisseurs

Last Saturday, a beautiful Kuchipudi dance performance called 'Nrityopasana' took place at Ravindra Bharathi.

The dancer, Sruti Varanasi, has been learning Kuchipudi for over fifteen years under Guru Sudhamala.

She wore four different costumes and was accompanied by a live orchestra.

The performance included various traditional dances and stories from Hindu mythology.

Sruti showed her skills in rhythmic precision, expressive dance, and storytelling.

She also performed a special dance called 'Simhanandini,' where she created a lion using rhythmic footwork on colored powder.

The audience enjoyed the performance very much.
