YSRCP Accuses Naidu of Failing to Secure BC Quota

YSRCP Accuses Naidu of Failing to Secure BC Quota

YSRCP says the Andhra Pradesh government has not secured the promised reservation for Backward Classes in local elections.

The party says the quota should be protected by law, not just by political decisions about which candidates get seats.

Its leaders blame Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and say he should explain what happened.

They also want the election authorities to take steps to protect candidates and voters from threats or interference.

These steps could include more security, cameras and independent observers.

A YSRCP spokesperson also said the quota had fallen to 24.15%, while demanding a change to the law.

The articles present these claims as YSRCP’s allegations and demands.
