Delhi Traffic Curbs Set for Three-Day BRICS Summit
Delhi will host the BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam from September 11 to 13, 2026.
Important leaders and their groups will travel through the city.
Because of this, police will control or redirect traffic on more than 35 roads.
There will be 22 diversion points where vehicles may be sent onto different routes.
People going to railway stations or the airport should leave early and follow the suggested routes.
Metro services will continue at all stations and are strongly recommended, especially for airport trips.
Buses, taxis and autorickshaws will continue to operate, but some routes and parking arrangements may change.
Ambulances, medical vehicles and essential services will receive priority.
A street-vendors’ group says restrictions in several areas could reduce vendors’ daily income.
Delhi Traffic Police will impose restrictions and diversions across more than 35 roads from September 11 to 13, 2026.
The advisory identifies 22 diversion points and controlled routes in central, south and other parts of Delhi.
