India Leads Asia-Pacific Healthcare PE Deals
India became the biggest market for healthcare private equity deals in the Asia-Pacific region in 2024.
This happened because investors are more confident in India, Japan, and South Korea compared to China.
The global value of these deals reached a record $191 billion in 2025.
Most of the investments are in hospitals, clinics, biopharma, and new technologies like MedTech and healthcare IT.
Even though there was a slowdown in some regions, the overall deal volume and value are expected to keep growing.

Global healthcare PE deal value hit a record $191 billion in 2025.
Biopharma deal value rose to $80 billion in 2025 from $55 billion in 2024.
Investor interest in India focused on hospitals, clinics, biopharma, MedTech, and healthcare IT.
