Maharashtra to Install Weather Stations in Every Village
Imagine little weather stations going up in every village in Maharashtra!
The government is doing this to help farmers and everyone else know what the weather will be like.
These stations, part of the WINDS project, will measure things like rain and wind.
This information will help people prepare for bad weather like floods or droughts.
The government will pick companies to install and take care of the stations, and the data collected will be shared through a central website.
