SDF Says Three Youth Leaders Detained at Delhi Election Protest

A protest took place in Delhi calling for the chief election official to resign.

The Sikkim Democratic Front said three of its youth leaders were detained there.

The protest was called by the Cockroach Janta Party.

It accused the election official of problems with voter lists and voter registration.

The SDF said some people were also worried about voting machines and the way voter lists were updated.

It said elections should be fair and that the election authorities should answer people’s concerns.

The report said at least 3,000 people were detained.

The claims made by the parties are allegations, not findings established in the report.
