Bengaluru’s First Toll Flyover Gets 32-Year Collection Cap

Bengaluru plans to build its first flyover where drivers would pay a toll.

The flyover would connect Yeshwanthpur with KR Puram.

It would cover about 28 kilometers.

The route would pass several areas, including IISc, Mekhri Circle, Ulsoor Lake, and Old Madras Road.

The project is expected to cost Rs 3,536 crore.

A private company would build, own, and operate it under the proposed BOOT model.

The company could collect tolls for no more than 32-and-a-half years.

Construction is supposed to be completed within 30 months.
