Google Opens Applications for 2026 PhD Software Engineering Internship in India

Google is looking for smart students who are currently getting their PhDs to come work with them for the summer of 2026.

They will get to work on challenging computer projects for about 12 to 14 weeks and get paid for it.

The internship will let them build big computer systems and solve tricky problems, just like the full-time engineers.

They'll learn a lot and get to work in cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Pune.

To apply, students need to be studying for a PhD in a technical field and know how to code.

Google will decide where each intern fits best based on their skills and what they've done before.
