Railway Inspectors Save Lives Across Secunderabad Division
In 2026, railway workers in Hyderabad did more than check tickets.
They stopped a child abuser, helped find missing kids, and saved people who got hurt on trains.
One inspector even stopped a train because of smoke.
They worked with police and ambulance teams to keep everyone safe.
Because of their quick thinking, passengers felt safer and trusted the railway more.
South‑Central Railway ticket inspectors performed life‑saving actions across multiple stations between May 29 and July 8, 2026.
Inspector Sai Ram intercepted a child abuse suspect and helped launch a POCSO case at Lakdikapul station.
Inspectors rescued runaway children, a passenger trapped between a train and platform, and a cardiac arrest victim, coordinating with RPF and ambulance services.
Others recovered lost equipment, stopped a train due to smoke, and enforced anti‑smoking rules to prevent hazards.
These actions boosted passenger confidence and highlighted the inspectors’ commitment beyond routine duties.
