UWA partners with IIM Mumbai & IIT Dhanbad for mining opportunities
The University of Western Australia (UWA) has teamed up with IIM Mumbai and IIT/ISM Dhanbad to work on new opportunities in mining.
They will focus on making mining more sustainable and improving logistics.
Initially, they will offer 10 online courses, and later, they plan to develop more courses and do joint research.
UWA is also opening new campuses in Mumbai and Chennai, which will focus on business, IT, and technology.
Additionally, they are working with Centurion University to help reduce the skill gap in the mining area.
UWA is also starting a sports program in India to bring Australian sports science expertise to Indian athletes and coaches.
