Voter List Revision Sparks Tension; BLO Deaths, Border Crossings Surge
A voter list revision process called SIR is happening in several states.
Some people involved in this process have died, including Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in Bengal and Kerala.
More people are trying to cross the Bangladesh border into West Bengal, which the Border Security Force (BSF) links to the SIR process.
The Congress party is blaming the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the revisions, while the BJP denies these claims.
