YSRC Leader Accuses CM of Activist Murder
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of the YSRC party, accused the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, of being responsible for the murder of a YSRC worker named Manda Salman.
Salman, who was a Dalit and a poor YSRC worker, was beaten to death with iron rods in his village on January 10 and died from his injuries on January 11.
Jagan said this was part of a bigger problem where the ruling TDP party and some police are trying to scare YSRC workers.
He also said that after Salman's death, a false case was made up to protect the people who did it.
Jagan promised to support Salman's family and warned that such violent politics will not be ignored.
He claimed that hundreds of YSRC activist families have fled due to fear of such incidents.
