Hygiene Violations Found at Four Hyderabad Eateries and Cloud Kitchens

Hygiene Violations Found at Four Hyderabad Eateries and Cloud Kitchens

Food safety inspectors visited four places in and around Hyderabad that make and serve food, including eateries and cloud kitchens.

At Babai Hotel, they found semi-prepared food kept without labels, dirty drains and a greasy exhaust.

At Ideal Kitchen, the kitchen was small and messy, with batters stored near a brooming stick.

Workers there used artificial food colours, and the inspectors threw the colours away on the spot.

Cooked rice dishes such as sambar rice and lemon rice were left open without covers.

Many important records, like medical checks, pest control and food-testing records, were missing at several places.

At Wacky Wok Cloud Kitchen, some good habits were found, but the freezer had spoiled vegetables and pest activity.

The inspectors told all these places to fix the problems and clean up.

Now the eateries must improve their kitchens so people can eat safe, healthy food.
