Koregaon Bhima Commission Issues Show Cause Notice to Uddhav Thackeray

Imagine a special group of people, called a commission, is trying to figure out what happened during some violence in a place called Koregaon Bhima a few years ago.

One important person, Prakash Ambedkar, told the commission that another politician, Sharad Pawar, wrote a letter to Uddhav Thackeray, who was the chief minister at the time.

This letter supposedly said that the violence was planned by the government that was in charge before Uddhav Thackeray.

The commission asked Uddhav Thackeray to show them this letter, but he hasn't.

Now, the commission has sent him a formal notice asking him to explain why they shouldn't take further action to make him bring the letter.

They have also given him a date to show up.

The commission itself has been working for a long time and has been given more time until next year to finish its job.
