Pune Civic Complaint Backlog Grows Amid Pothole Accident Concerns

Many people in Pune have reported problems such as potholes, damaged roads and health services online.

More than 500 of these complaints have not yet been resolved.

Over 300 complaints have been waiting for more than three weeks.

Pothole complaints are increasing, and poor roads have been linked to accidents and travel difficulties.

The Pune Municipal Corporation reviewed the complaints.

Additional Commissioner Prajit Nair told departments to act within the next few days.

He said complaints should not be closed unless there is a valid reason and the problem has been addressed.

Residents say some complaints were marked closed even though the work had not been done.
