Market indecisive between bulls and bears; Sensex higher

Market indecisive between bulls and bears; Sensex higher

This news is about the stock market in India, a place where people buy and sell tiny pieces of big companies called stocks.

The Sensex is a scoreboard that tracks how these stock prices are doing.

On this day, the Sensex went up, but the reports are not sure by how much - one says 374 points and another says 400 points.

Even though prices went up, the market could not decide which way to go.

People who think prices will go up are called bulls, and people who think prices will fall are called bears.

This time, both the bulls and the bears were unsure, so prices moved in a small, wavy pattern.

The defense sector, which makes things for the military, did really well, and so did PSU banks.

The media sector did the worst and lost the most.

Experts from Kotak Securities said the market could climb higher if it breaks above 79,000 to 79,100, and could fall if it drops below the support levels.

Level-based trading is recommended because the market has no clear direction right now.
