Tamil Nadu Singappen Force Resolves 236 Complaints During Safety Drive
Tamil Nadu Police conducted a week-long safety campaign from September 18 to 24.
A special group called the Singappen force worked across the state.
It solved 236 complaints immediately and helped open 16 criminal cases.
Officers held thousands of safety lessons and patrolled places considered prone to crime.

Some people used the 1091 helpline to report alleged abuse, stalking and harassment.

Cases included alleged sexual abuse, stalking, public harassment and mobile-phone snatching, with several arrests reported.
