SIFCC Seeks to Resolve DV4 Film Dispute Over Actor's Commitment
The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) is trying to fix a problem with a movie called DV4.
An actor named Dhruv Vikram was supposed to finish this movie, but he stopped working on it.
The company that made the movie, Niladri Productions, says he left without telling them and that he was sick.
They have already spent about 20 crore rupees on the film.
The SIFCC wants the actor to finish the movie before he can start a new one.
They have set a meeting for July 30, 2026, to talk about it.
If they can’t agree, the SIFCC says they might take legal action.
They also told the new company that wants to make a new DV4 film to wait until the old one is finished.
The whole issue is about making sure people keep their promises in movies.
SIFCC demands actor Dhruv Vikram honor original DV4 commitment before new projects.
Niladri Productions claims Dhruv Vikram stopped filming without notice, citing health reasons.
Nearly ₹20 crore already invested in DV4, and a meeting scheduled July 30, 2026.
SIFCC warns Mythri Movie Makers to halt new DV4 project and delay promotional material.
Failure to resolve dispute could lead to legal action and actor must appear before Chamber.
