Art of Living Partners to Boost Sustainable Farming in India
The Art of Living is working with other groups to help Indian farmers grow food in a healthy way.
They signed agreements to save old types of seeds and sell organic food.
They will teach farmers how to grow food without chemicals and help them sell their crops.
The goal is to make farming better for the environment, the farmers, and the people who eat the food.
The government is also helping to make this happen.
AOL-SSIAST signed MoUs with NCOL and BBSSL to promote sustainable agriculture.
The partnerships aim to build value chains for indigenous seed preservation and organic produce marketing.
One MoU focuses on establishing seed banks and farmer training for indigenous seed promotion.
The second MoU seeks to streamline aggregation, certification, and marketing of organic produce.
The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Cooperation to revive traditional agriculture.
