Two Shirur Police Constables Face Separate ACB Bribery Actions

Two police head constables in Shirur faced separate anti-corruption operations on the same day.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau said Shivaji Bankar demanded money to help people avoid arrest.

Investigators said he accepted ₹11,000 outside the old police station.

He was taken into custody shortly afterward.

The bureau also said Satish Mundhe demanded money in another criminal case.

Mundhe allegedly accepted ₹95,000 at a police outpost.

He then ran away with the money after noticing the investigators.

The bureau began legal action against both officers.
