Lawyer's body recovered from Ganga two days after wife
A man and his wife went to a big river to get water for a special religious ceremony.
After they went, nobody heard from them again.
That same night, people found the wife's body in the river.
The police started looking for the man.
They found his motorcycle near a riverbank.
A special rescue team called the NDRF joined the search.
On Wednesday afternoon, the man's body was also found in the river.
The police are still looking into what happened.
The family had told police that the couple went to the river together.
The body of 52-year-old lawyer Om Prakash Dubey was recovered from the Ganga in Ballia on Wednesday.
His wife, Indu Devi, had been found dead in the same stretch of river on Monday night near the Bayasi bridge.
The couple went to the Ganga on Monday evening to collect water for 'jalabhishek' to Lord Shiva.
Dubey's motorcycle was found near Shivramapur Ghat, leading police and an NDRF team to launch a search.
Dubahar SHO Anupam Jaiswal confirmed Dubey's body was recovered from Shivramapur Ghat on Wednesday afternoon.
